Environmental Portrait

These photos were taken at a local record store, Standards, in the afternoon. The people in the photo are my sister Ryanne and her boyfriend Chase as I was unable to take photos of my partner. This project was fun because I got to spend time with my family and take other photos around the store. The record store was chosen because Chase collects records and often comes to this store to sell them so it is the space that connects to him the most as a person. I included two photos because I thought there was an interesting contrast between when they were looking at a camera with blank faces but then light up and smile when looking at one another.
